Instagram makes the pictures you take even better. And sharing them is easy. Teachers can take pictures wherever they go with a phone or camera, apply a filter and upload it very quickly and easily to their website or blog. If you're the middle of a lesson on photosynthesis, snap a picture of some interesting plants and describe the process in class.
Students can get in on the lesson wherever they are by snapping pictures and uploading them to their own Instagram account and tagging them the same as the teacher to view them together. If they don't have an account, students could snap the picture and send it to the teacher for them to upload.
Parents and administrators have the opportunity to learn along with students by snapping and contributing pictures they think continue the conversation and discussion.
