Diigo for Teachers

Teachers have more options and tools available than they often think. In particular, many Web 2.0 tools such as Facebook, Skype, Weebly, Twitter, and more have special accounts for educators.

Diigo can be included in that list. They have a special educator account that features:

  • Student accounts for an entire classroom with optional email addresses
  • Students of the same class are automatically set up as a Diigo group
    • automatically have access to group bookmarks, annotations, and group forums
  • Privacy settings  are pre-set for teacher and class access only
  • Ads presented to student accounts are limited to education-related sponsors

For more information on setting up, maintaining, and getting additional answers to questions about student accounts, visit the Diigo Education Account FAQ.
