Digital Media and 21st Century Learning

Is digital media a part of your classroom? Should it? With so much attention and work going into cellphones and handheld devices, do you allow these in your school? Are they banned, much like illegal substances and weapons? Are digital devices in the same category as drugs and guns? Are they that threatening?
