Mendeley for Teachers

Teachers are seeking higher degrees and positions. They're attending graduate school for a Masters, and sometimes PhD's. They're also applying for national board certification (North Carolina has the highest number of national board certified teachers) and writing grants. Research and writing are embedded in all of these processes.

Mendeley can help make research easier, more organized, and easily shared with other colleagues. Not only do you have the abilty to drag and drop PDF's into Mendeley, then highlight and annotate, but also share a documents securely with others to help you in the disseminating process.

You can connect with other like-minded people by searching the thousands of groups already together through Mendeley Groups. You can create a profile so others can find you, and your work. Then, track progress on the documents you've shared with the built-in stats tracker.

If all of that is not enough, Mendeley integrates with programs like Microsoft Word and Zotero to help make citations easier. This makes writing papers in grad school, grants in the classroom, and research for national boards a whole lot easier.
