Prezi

Prezi is an Internet-based presentation software that allows presenters and viewers to zoom in and out of a single slide to explore a topic or idea. Instead of using single slides presented in order from beginning to end, Prezi allows you to zoom in on what you'd like to see and learn.

Prezi was created by architect and visual artist Adam Somlai-Fischer who originally began using zooming presentations in 2001. A zoomable interface allowed him to see the 'big picture' floor plan of a building and then zoom in to individual rooms to see specific details.

Audiences were amazed at Adam's presentations and encouraged him to create something and make it available to everyone. In April of 2009, with help from Budapest University professor of technology Peter Halacsy and business entrepreneur Peter Arvai, the Prezi product and company was born.
