In the place of reading slides, students have the opportunity to explain a topic with zoomable text, images, video, and more. The visually interesting transitions from one object to the next is a great way to keep fellow students interested and engaged.
Teachers have the opportunity to use one 'slide' to present all of the information in a lesson, chapter, or unit. This gives students the 'big picture' idea of the topic being taught, and then zoom in on the details once the overall idea is understood. Sharing the Prezi gives students the chance to go back and look at any part of the lesson, chapter, or unit that may not have been clear.
Administrators can use a single Prezi for faculty meetings throughout the year. Adding new resources for each meeting keeps all of the relevant information in the same place. Teachers have the opportunity to go back and re-read or re-watch any resources that were shared. If there are any videos that are particularly inspiring, each meeting can start off with it!
