Instagram for Teachers

As teachers use more digital resources (website, blog, Twitter, wikis, etc.) they learn how to make them look professional. Adding great looking photos to a blog post or wiki page not only makes it stand out, it helps students understand content because they can see it.

With Instagram, teachers can turn just about any photo into a great looking shot. If you've taken a photo of some plants sprouting but the light is far too bright, add a color saturation filter like the Lord Kelvin effect. If you've taken a photo of yourself dressed as an author from the late nineteenth century, make it antique with the Inkwell effect. Or, give a picture a dreamy look with Lomo-fi for students to use as muse in the next Art class.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, and these days you can make thousands of changes to common photos to make them look even better. Use Instagram and you can easily add filters and share pictures with ease.
