Xtranormal brings movie making to the people. We like to say that it brings easy movie making to students, teachers, and administrators. As the website states, "If you can type, you can make a movie."

After four years of software development, Xtranormal started in 2008. They launched as a website that allows you to easily type text so that a three-dimensional character can speak the words in a montone computerized voice.

Users (1) choose a character from hundreds of 'actors,' (2) type or record dialogue, and (3) select your background. You control the emotions, physical gestures, and voice. The actors automatically lip-sync to the words you type and then follow your selected camera angles, sounds effects, and more.
