Top 11 from '11: #3- Getting Stuff in to Evernote

Yesterday was our introduction to Evernote, the tool to help you remember everything! Since you've seen some of the things Evernote can do, lets show you a few of the many ways you can get stuff into it.

Some of the easiest ways to get stuff in to Evernote is:

1. Type it in. At the bottom left corner click the + button (New Note), type in a title and then write your note. Your title will show up in your notes section with the beginning of your note.

2. Clip it. After downloading and installing the Safari Clipper, use the Evernote clip icon to easily send a web page directly in to Evernote. It will automatically create a title, body, and add any images.

3. Copy and Paste. If you don't want the entire web page, copy the text and/or images you want and paste it into Evernote.

4. Drag and drop. You can click, drag, and drop a file, photo, or text in to Evernote. You can create a note before you drag, drag it over the Evernote icon on your dock, or drag it into an existing note.

5. Print it. You can save a web page or file into Evernote by clicking File -> Print (command + P). Go to the lower left corner, click the PDF drop-down menu and select Save PDF to Evernote.
