DropBox for Administrators

Administrators are responsible for lots of paperwork. They need a simple method for distributing this work to lots of people in differing roles.

DropBox is a web-based file sharing service that can help send and receive much of this paperwork in a simple way. Administrators upload an important file to a Public DropBox folder and shares the link with all staff. The staff members click the link and instantly download a copy of the file.

If the staff members need to fill-in a section of the file, they can re-save it once they're finished to the same Public folder where the administrator can keep them all in one place. This can also work with files/paperwork that need to be distributed to students and/or parents.

Administrators can use DropBox for:
  • School Improvement Plan distribution
  • Office paperwork (including substitute forms, attendance, etc.)
  • Fundraiser information
  • School calendars
  • Consent forms
  • Athletic event flyers
  • Open letters to students/parents
  • Announcements

There are many more uses for DropBox as and administrator, these are a few to get you started.
