What an end to a pretty amazing week, in North Carolina, at least! A magnitude 5.8 earthquake was felt here on the East coast of North Carolina on Tuesday, August 23, and then hurricane Irene hit the North Carolina coast Saturday, August 27. Everyone seems to be alright, but the damage will take some time to clean up.
