Glogster, started in 2007, is the Internet age's version of a poster. Users create a one page 'poster' around a topic or content area using images, videos, audio recordings, special effects, and other media to create interaction between the content and the viewer. The majority of Glogster users are teenagers.
Glogster 'posters' can be easily shared with other users, embedded on other websites, wikis, and blogs or through social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
Glogster EDU began in 2009 to support the growing community of educators and students. Teachers and students are better able to use Glogster to teach, share, and display content in a private virtual classroom.
Glogster has more than 10 million registered Glog pages in more than 200 countries around the world.
