Glogster in the Classroom

Glogster can be a great addition to any classroom. Just like a poster, Glogster can display valuable information in a colorful and artistic manner all in one place.

Glogster can also be a great addition to a classroom website, displaying valuable information about projects, upcoming lessons or units, how-to's, newsletters, student work, and much more. Since most types of media can be embedded on the site, it can turn into a library of helpful information for the classroom.

A helpful way to use Glogster as part of your classroom website is to add it to your page links at the top of your site and embed it into your website. Students will have an easy way to view and interact with your Glog.

If you use Blogger, from your website go to Design => New Post => Edit Pages => New Page => Type 'Glog' or 'Glogster' => Click Edit HTML => Copy & Paste your Glog's HTML code => Preview (to make sure it works) => Publish Page

To get the HTML code from your Glog, go to the bottom right corner and click Embed into your page => Copy (should be the bottom button next to the most amount of typed characters) => Paste into your blog's Edit HTML area => Adjust size settings (I typically change the Scale to 50, which is 50%).

Here's a tutorial to help with the process:
