Symbaloo For Students

It can be difficult for students to organize all of the information, assignments, projects, and work they need at school. Particularly in the middle grade years, students are transitioning from the hand-holding days of elementary school to the rough and tumble social scene of middle school. The last thing on their mind, most days, is where their math worksheet is.

Showing students simple and organized ways to keep track of all the things they need to remember is vital in today's high stakes, standardized schools. Symbaloo is one tool for keeping much of the digital content students need, all in one place. 

As a former middle school teacher, the first two weeks of the year were spent on getting students comfortable with the schedule, lockers, classrooms, and bathroom breaks. As we head into a new school year, you may consider getting students comfortable with a tool like Symbaloo, so they can create, edit, and search for resources they can use all year. Once students are set up with Symabaloo, you can begin to use it for the 'Bellwork,' ClassStarter, or SeatWork you have them complete as soon as they come into your classroom.
