Simple K12 July Webinars

Social Media can be such a powerful classroom and professional development tool. Twitter connects you to an instant network, blogs allow you to read what others think on a deeper level, Facebook can bring a group together with Like purposes, and many more allow for different needs in different situations.

Another great thing Social Media can do is give you access to seminars and webinars from the comfort of your home or classroom. So if you've started to Twitter, signed up for a Google account, and have a classroom Facebook page, but don't know what to do now, SimpleK12.com is one place you can go to learn how all of these can be used in your classroom.

SimpleK12 has some great webinars that teach you how to use some great tools and allows to learn with other teachers and educators just like you.

They recently released a July schedule for their webinars. You can look forward to participating in Image Editing, Power of Twitter, Using Mobile Devices, or the one we're looking forward to most is Google Tips and Tools for Your Classroom. You can also look forward to a great list of presenters, including; Steven W. Anderson (@web20classroom), Kyle Pace, Kim Munoz, and many more!

If you can't make it to actual webinar, don't worry, they typically have it archived and available to watch after it's done!

So please feel free to join in on one of them or watch at your convenience when it's done and then begin planning how your classroom and lesson plans will be different this year!
