The family and I went on vacation this week and there wasn't any wi-fi available. I attempted to blog through my phone using 3G and the Google app on my phone to write blog posts.
The first few days went fairly well, but the second half of the week wasn't as good as the first. The first few posts I started writing before I left and the second half of the week were solely from my phone.
Though I don't think the second half of the week posts turned out as well as I hoped, I guess it was pretty good considering it was from a phone, and I did learn a bit.
I learned that 3G connection is slower than I thought and it's difficult to go from link to link (lots of spinning circle time). Copying and pasting on a phone doesn't display the same as when you copy and paste on a laptop. Formatting text the way you want is very difficult on a phone. I could not figure out how to create text links through the Blogger app on my phone when creating blog posts.
These are just a few of the things I learned, but I think the overall theme was that it was far more difficult and time consuming to try it with a phone and 3G. And, it was vacation and I should probably try something like this at a different time!
