ToonDoo for Students

Students like to laugh. Comics provide funny stories. Therefore, students should read and create their own comics in the classroom. Whether they think they can draw, or not, is irrelevant because of ToonDoo, the world's fastest way to create cartoons.

Students can put some creativity into some of the more common classroom assignments. They can effectively turn a dull topic into an extraordinary presentation. For example:
  • Give a presentation on Beowulf in Language Arts a sprucing up by dressing in a period costume and interacting with the comic version of Beowulf.
  • Create a funny story in response to a complicated word problem in Math where a made-up character answers the question in a silly manner.
  • Allow a goofy cartoon Science professor to recite the lab rules in a way that shows everyone why rules aren't meant to be broken!
  • Give a funny spin to the Food Guide Pyramind (now a plate) by telling a cartoon story of unhealthy eating habits and how to change for PE
  • Help a new English language learner translate some tongue twisters in an ESL classroom
  • Have a cartoon character play the wrong notes to a popular song and then demonstrate the correct way for Band class
