bubbl.us for Students

It's great to see the lightbulb go off when a student catches on to a concept or idea. The, "Ooooohh, I get it!" never gets old. Getting to that moment takes time and patience. It also takes explaining it in a different way than originally presented.

bubbl.us is a tool for putting concepts and ideas together in a way that makes sense to the individual. People often jot down notes or phrases that only makes sense to them in order to remember something in the future. bubbl.us works the same way.

Students can use the easy creation tools at bubbl.us to create, connect, and display ideas with bubbles. Students can use their bubbles to demonstrate knowledge to the teacher, present it to the class, or share it with a classmate to teach them.

Students have the option of going beyond the lines of a Venn Diagram to arrange information in whatever shape they want, and make it as big or small, wide or thin, colorful or simple as they desire.

Students can use bubbl.us to compare solids and gases in Science, good and evil characters from the current novel in Language Arts, healthy eating habits in Health, coverage of a natural disaster by two different news stations in Social Studies, compare two musical pieces by the same composer in Band, or create art with bubbles when comparing two impressionist painters in Art class.

One of the greatest aspects of bubbl.us is that students can collaborate and share the same bubble project. This way any sudden bursts of inspiration can be added quickly and easily without having to wait to meet.
