As an administrator it's a challenge to receive and organize input from students, teachers, parents, and faculty. With a busy schedule and an increasing number of responsibilities, you can't always collect the input yourself. You need some help. You also need an easy way to gather lots of input.
bubbl.us can serve as an input gathering tool where many contributors can add ideas without having to go to you for every detail. An administrator can start a bubbl.us map on topic such as the School Improvement Plan (SIP). The term SIP is in the center and then the areas of largest concern extend out.
Share the map with everyone involved and let them add or change as they see fit. Extend some encouragement, make some recommendations, but otherwise leave it alone so that teachers have the opportunity to work on it.
When an acceptable amount of time has passed, turn the map into a PDF to pass out, embed on the school website, or email to parents or community members that would like to see it.
