Evernote For Administrators

Administrators like to know what's happening. They may not have time for ALL the details, but they want to know for many reasons; Is what you're doing in the classroom having a positive impact? Are students achieving high success on assessments? Who is standing out and what are they doing? Who's putting the gum over the nozzle on the 8th grade hall? (Ok, maybe they do need ALL the details)

Evernote gives administrators the tools to capture anything, access it anywhere, and find things easily.
  • Find a great website on cyberbullying? Create a note and share it with your Assistant Principal.
  • Read a great article on classroom management? Save it to the Notebook you share with classroom teachers.
  • Have an important upcoming school fundraiser? Send out information to the PTA in one note.
  • Girls soccer team undefeated? Jot down a note to feature them on the school website.
  • Need a way to take meeting notes and review them later? Take them on your laptop and have them on your smartphone while you're waiting at the dentist.
  • Want to remember the names of new students? Snap a photo with their school ID, Evernote allows you to search photos for text, so you can search names and have the face with it.
    • This also works well for visitors to the school. Have all new students and parents take their picture with an ID included. When they come to the front desk, you'll have an easily searchable database of faces with ID.
  • Need to remember to fix the 8th grade hall water fountain? Snap a photo and save it to the maintenance team's Notebook with a note to check on it.

Evernote has the power to remember everything for you, so you have more time to focus on the things that matter. And leave the water fountain to those that need to fix it.
