Animoto and Students

Students want everything to be easy. Easy homework, easy projects, easy access to lockers without being squished, bumped, knocked, or hit in the head with falling books (maybe that's just middle school).

Animoto makes it easy for students to create professional looking videos with a few simple clicks. All a student needs to do is upload images they snapped around the house, add text to describe their pictures, choose some music to set the pace, and in a few minutes Animoto will finish the rest.

The student will have a great looking video to help explain their Science project about plants, the teacher will appreciate the use of technology, and the parent will like the grade.

Students could also use Animoto to create videos for:
  • What they did over summer/winter break
  • Review books from the reading list
  • Document steps in the volcano building project
  • Create a photo story of your life
  • Highlights of the band concert
  • Demo for band tryouts
  • Art portfolio
  • Flashcards for studying
  • Video brochure of Spain for the country project
  • News brief on a historical event
  • Simulated field trip

There are so many applications in education for the Animoto version of making videos. The only limitation is the students' imagination.
