Teachers Using Weebly

Teachers are being pushed to use more technology in their classrooms. Whiteboards, document camera, data projectors, laptops, iPads, and more fill discussions around what to put in today's classrooms.

These tools are great, but they can be expensive, difficult to track and manage, and aren't often put into the hands that really matter, students!

Teachers have the option of looking past the physical pieces of technology and moving on to digital tools, such as Weebly. Teachers can sign up for a Weebly for Education website and have 40 accounts to share with students.

Once signed up for an account, teachers can use Weebly to easily:
  • Send out classroom announcements and updates
  • Track student progress and give personal feedback
  • Collect digital assignments
  • Check student journaling through their blogs
  • Embed Calendars
  • Post instructional videos
  • Feature student work
  • Share slideshow presentations
  • Collect data using the Forms feature
  • Give digital Quizzes
  • Keep track of important links
  • Keep parents in the "loop" with open communication
  • Make class notes and handouts available for viewing and download
  • Keep everything digital in one place
