Facebook is nearly equal in popularity and controversy, when it comes to classroom use. Just as any other tool, the successes and failures of it are due to the they way it's used.
We hope this week's look at Facebook has opened up a new way of thinking about it, and the possibility of using it in your classroom. In our opinion, the possibilities for learning far outweigh the negatives.
If you still haven't been convinced of Facebook's value in education, and in the classroom, take a look at these additional resources we found while researching the topic (don't just take our word for it):

As usual, we'd love to hear your comments on the Facebook issue. Do you use it? Are you afraid? Does your school or district ban it? Are you something that would like to stand up in support of it's use in school?
Let us know, and then let us know how we can help! :)
