Skype Resources

Skype is popular because it crosses through all areas of life; businesses, families, schools, organizations, friends, classmates, relatives, and many more can use Skype to connect. It's simple, a computer and an Internet connection and you have the opportunity to speak with anyone, anywhere in seconds.

All to often it's the place that needs to use tools like it the most, that don't allow it. Schools often ban Skype, or don't promote its use because it makes administrators nervous. We need to stop banning it and start teaching how to use it. The technology is there, we just have to show students the right way to handle it.
