Recently, Google added a great new feature, tracking packages in Gmail. If you open an email with an address or package tracking number, Gmail will give you links to maps, directions, and delivery status. This is great for keeping tabs on important shipments, especially around holidays, birthdays, or business transactions. You can easily add the package or delivery event to your calendar quickly and easily with Google Calendar.
For your convenience, the folks at Google say that no human views the content of your email and does not allow advertisers access to the information.
