Skype Teacher Network

Skype has the potential to connect us all. With a computer and internet connection you can use Skype to video chat, talk with text, send images, and much more.

Recently, Skype created a dedicated Network for Teachers, called Skype In The Classroom. With this, teachers can bring lots of resources into the classroom. Video chat with experts in a specific field, take a virtual tour of distant lands, connect with other classrooms to collaborate on projects and learn new cultures, and a host more.

Skype In The Classroom has already allowed thousands of teachers to hook into a network of technology savvy educators that yearn for more and better ways to teach students. Use Skype In The Classroom to look for new projects, read other user's posts and ideas, or just chat about success and failure in the classroom.
