As a graduate student you're constantly searching for information. It could be in the library (media center in many cases), in a journal, textbook, or webpages. Safari is great for searching websites quickly and easily, just hit, command + f on your keyboard and start typing a word or phrase you're looking for. All instances of it will pop-up in yellow. This saves a ton of time and frustration.
But what about on your phone? So often you're using your phone and don't have your computer with you, or don't want to take the time to boot it up if you're already on the site you need.
Well, this handy little video from Lifehacker explains how to search for contents of a webpage from your phone. Simply navigate to the site => click the Google search tab => start typing the word or phrase => scroll to the bottom of the list where it says, 'on this page' => tap it and your phone will highlight the first occurrence.
It's that easy!
